Recruitment Timeline for the Co-operative Internship Program (CIP) The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering operates a continuous hiring process where jobs are posted until all students are hired. There is no ranking or matching of students with employers. The recruitment process begins several months prior to the start date of a placement. In order for a student to receive academic credit and for the employer to receive the Co- operative Education Tax Credit the internship work term must be 8, 12 or 16 consecutive months in duration. We do allow some flexibility with the dates below.
